Major fire in crowded Heritage Building in Mumbai
Mumbai, Oct 26: A major fire broke out on the seventh floor of the crowded Heritage Building at 1020 hours today at Andheri on the western suburb here.
Sources within the fire services told UNI that nine fire tenders including tankers along with two snorkel tenders took nearly three hours to douse the blaze, added sources.
No injuries or casualties had been reported yet, sources said.
Meanwhile, the department of fire services began investigations to ascertain the cause of fire.
The building, home to large number of offices and commerical centres, is one of the crowded and busiest structures in the locality.
