Hockey coach suspended

Jalandhar, Oct 26 (UNI) The Chandigarh Hockey team's coach NS Sodhi was suspended for one match for his assault on an Orissa team player during a match in National Hockey Championship in Amritsar yesterday.

Mr Sodhi who reportedly slapped a Orissa team player during the match yesterday was suspended by tournament's Technical Director Kuku Walia.

Mr Walia had also sought explaination from Mr Sodhi,an organisers spokesman said here today.
