HM militant arrested in Doda

Jammu, Oct 26: Security forces last night arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen militant from Basti forests in Doda district, police said here today.

A joint team of the Army, CRPF and police personnel apprehended Fareed Ahmad Sheikh from Basti forests in Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district, senior superintendent of police (Doda) Manohar Singh told UNI ''Fareed was active in the area for a long time. He was involved in several militancy-related incidents and other crimes including rape,'' he said.
