Four travel agents booked, one held

Hoshiarpur, Oct 26 (UNI) Police has registered a case against four travel agents for duping a youth of village Kot Fatuhi of Rs six lakh on the pretext of sending him to America.

Police said Balbir Chand of Bahalpur, Gurdip Singh of Dhakon, Ranjit Singh of Gazipur and Lal Singh of Madan Vihar, Delhi were booked under sections 406, 420 and 120 B of the IPC. Gurdip Singh was arrested.

According to the police, Rajinder Singh of village Kot Fatuhi alleged that the aforesaid travel agents took Rs six lakh from him for sending him to America. But, they neither sent him to the US nor returned the money.
