Devotees throng Moopidevi temple on Nagula Chaviti
Vijayawada, Oct 26 (UNI) Thousands of devotees visited the famous Moopidevi Nagendra Swamy temple near Challapalli on the occasion of 'Nagula Chaviti' today.
The devotees were thronging the temple since dawn to offer prayers to God Nagendra and performed special poojas. The devotees offered eggs and milk to the deity, as per tradition.
The Krishna region of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) plied special buses to Moopidevi for the convenience of the devotees.
In the city, a large number of devotees visited Nagendraswami temples at different places.
