Deceased Indian family members to be buried in Dubai

Dubai, Oct 26 (UNI) Four Indians of the same family, who were charred to death in a car accident on Tuesday evening, will be buried here tomorrow.

The bodies of Dastagir Patel(40), his wife Saleha(32), and their children Sana(9) and Mohammed(12) were burned beyond recognition when the car was hit by a four-wheeler at a U-turn on one of Dubai's major highways at around 6.40 pm on Tuesday.

Sources said both vehicles caught fire after the collision. The UAE national, driving the other vehicle, sustained serious injuries and was hospitalised.

Patel was working as a business system analyst in the IT department of a bank since 2001. He had been the recipient of many accolades in lieu of his commendable services, a bank official said.

Relatives of the family are reaching Dubai tonight for the last rites.
