New transformation strategy for WeP by Shining

Kolkata, Oct 26: Bangalore based management consultancy and product design firm Shining Emotional Surplus today unveiled a unique UPS system designed for IT hardware and peripherals company WeP Peripherals Limited.

The unique design, part of the corporate transformation programme undertaken by Shining for WeP Peripherals Ltd, aims to move the UPS from its conventional below the working desk spot to become part of the working desktop, Founder, Shining-Emotional Surplus, Shombit Sengupta said.

The new product has been incorporated with value added features such as mobile phone charger, clock and a CD rack to transform the lacklustre below the table device to a funky desktop accessory and is priced at Rs 5,000, Mr Sengupta said.

Shining also undertook corporate transformation strategy for Gati to make it India's first global express cargo company.

As part of the transformation programme Gati would adopt a new corporate motto "Ahead in Reach", which captures the company's target and vision.

The Gati-ites would have to imbine a new set of corporate values in their attitude, behaviour and action to deliver brand value, he said.

Shining is currently working for clients in the automobiles, consumer electronics, consumer goods, IT peripherals, FMCG and mobile technology sectors.
