Infact, the weatherman has forecast isolated rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal in the next 48 hours.

The weathermen has forecast that the cloudy conditions could persist in Delhi in the coming days. A drop in maximum temperature to 26 degrees Celsius is likely to be possible tomorrow.

The pre-Diwali period in Delhi saw the mercury dropping following a fresh Western disturbance which led to light rain and thundershowers last week.

The rain and thundershowers led to cool weather in the capital, which have persisted ever since.
