China 2006 trade surplus to exceed $150 bn
BEIJING, Oct 26: China's trade surplus for all of 2006 will be greater than 0 billion, assistant central bank governor Yi Gang said on Thursday.
''I think this year's trade surplus will definitely exceed 0 billion. Some people think it could reach 0 billion,'' Yi told a forum.
China's trade surplus in 2005 hit a record 2 billion. The surplus in the first nine months of 2006 has already surpassed that level, reaching 9.9 billion.
