Call rates trade high between 7.1 - 7.15 pc level, bonds subdued
Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) Call rates today traded between 7.1 and 7.15 per cent amidst declining liquidty position.
RBI in the call money market on Oct 23 transacted Rs 6421.43 crores at the weighted average of 7.69 per cent.
In the first liquidity adjustment RBI through Repo auction today transacted Rs 10 crores through one bids at the rate of seven per cent. However, RBI did not inject any money through the repo auction.
Gilts today traded low the (GS 8.07 per cent 2017) bond traded at Rs 102.81 and gave a yield of 7.67 per cent.
RBI fixed the reference rate for the day at Rs 45.30 per US Dollar compared to Rs 45.40 per US Dollar on Monday.
