New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) Warning the Congress of the people's ire during the 'Delhi Trade Bandh', Delhi Nationalist Congress Party president Ramvir Singh Bidhuri today said the ruling party should do something concrete to provide relief to those who face sealing from next month.

''People are angry as their livelihood was being affected and could vent their ire on them if Congressmen try to pretend that they were with them during the three-day 'bandh','' he told mediapersons.

''Congress' hypocrisy was evident from the fact that instead of meeting the Prime Minister and party chief Sonia Gandhi they were hankering around the 'Group of Ministers on Sealing' which had already stated that it did not want any confrontation with the judiciary on the issue.'' Despite its own government at all the three levels -- MCD, Delhi state and the Centre, the Congress had failed to do anything and lacked any plan as yet to provide any relief to the traders who were perturbed over their loss of livelihood, he said.

''My appeal to the Congress high command is to incorporate the Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act 2006 in the IX Schedule of the Constitution so that the entire matter comes out of the purview of the courts and demolitions and selings in the Capital stop.'' This was imperative as there was no other way to provide succour to the traders right now, he said. He said he will move a resolution to this effect in the Delhi Assembly, he added.
