Bajah Allianz opens office

Aizawl, Oct 26: The competition in the private insurance sector will increase in Mizoram with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance entering the fray.

After inaugurating its office here today, state manager of the company Sanjoy Srivasta said awareness must be created among the people about the benefits of insuring one's life.

Pointing out that insurance is still in its nascent stage in Mizoram, Mr Srivastava promised to take up the task of providing insurance cover to maximum number of people.

The insurance is also a source of employment for the Mizo youth and the company has already recruited over 300 youths to promote its policies, he said.
