Bellary, Karnataka, Oct 26 (UNI) Rashtriya Hindu Sena President Pramod Muthalik today termed the supporters of Afzal Guru, who has been awarded death sentence in Parliament attack case, as traitors of the nation.

Talking to newspersons here after inaugurating the district unit of Srirama Sena, he came down heavily on former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah for having virtually threatened the judiciary by saying that the hanging of Guru would result in blood bath in the country and impact the ongoing India-Pakistan peace talks. All those who supported Guru should be punished, he demanded.

Mr Muthalik condemned the appointment of Mr A K Antony as Defence Minister and accused AICC President Sonia Gandhi of ''christianising'' the country. Among the 14 Congress-ruled States, six Chief Ministers were Christians, he noted.

He said that to save the historic Hampi from the Islamikarana, a seven-member committee would be constituted which would work under pro-Hindu outfits.

The Committee, comprising research scholars, historians and writers, would unearth the truth to counter the Muslim community's claim that Honnur Ali Urs was being celebrated for ages. This was one of the main agenda of the Hindu outfits assembling in Mysore on November five to chalk out strategies for various movements to be taken up in Karnataka, he added.
