There is no move to drop me from the Cabinet: Chaluvaraya Swamy
Bangalore, Oct 25 (UNI) Karnataka Transport Minister N Chaluvaraya Swamy today ruled out possibility of himself being dropped from the cabinet by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
In a chat with newsmen here, he said that "when there is cordial relationship between me and the Chief Minister where is the question of dropping me from the Cabinet as reported in a section of the press, he asked adding that "We are united as we were while forming the Government and electing Mr Kumaraswamy as the Chief minister and and we have no doubt in our leader." Mr Chaluvaraya Swamy welcomed induction of cine actor turned politician M H Ambeeresh into the Union Cabinet. "Irrespective of party affiliation, I am happy with the appointment of Mr Ambeeresh as the Union Minister. I am sure the State would benefit from his appointment." Earlier, the Minister inaugurated Preventive and Day Care Centre established by Kolkata based Longevite in assistance with B M Birla Heart Research Centre.
In his inaugural address, the Minister called for providing treatment to the poor at a reasonable cost.
Longevite Managing Director Jayalakshmi, in her welcome address, said that an attempt has been made to bridge the gap in providing healthcare to growing clients of global companies. "Keeping corporate wellness as priority, besides providing quality preventive cum day care and consultancy services to the public the Centre was opened in IT hub of India." She said that the Longevite was designed to house all facilities under one roof, fully air conditioned, automated to minimize human intervention and possibile error in recording tests results, to ensure extremely hygienic surroundings.
