TDP demands action against land grabber
Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party today demanded action against a retired teacher who claiming to be a Congress leader had grabbed 14,000 acres of land on the outskirts of the city falling under Rangareddy district.
Reacting to a report in a popular newspaper that one Rajaiah who took voluntary retirement as a teacher had threatened innocent tribals and annexed vast tracts of land, TDP leader and Former Minister Vijaya Rama Rao demanded action against the person and return of the lands to the original owners.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Rao said it was astonishing that officials had registered 1,747 acres of land in the name of Rajaiah, 'setting aside all rules'.
