Silver, gold loses shine due to lack of fresh demand

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) Spot silver and gold today lost it's shine on account of lack of fresh demand in the openign session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,284 (18,540), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,637 (8,770) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,685 (8,822).
