PM on a whirlwind visit to AP
Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will make a whirlwind visit to Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
Soon after his arrival by an IAF Boeing aircraft at 1000 hrs, he will helihop to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy to inspect the passing out parade by IPS probationers.
Dr Singh, along with Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, who would be arriving here tonight, would distribute medals and trophies to outstanding IPS probationers, after paying floral tributes to statesman Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
Later, he will fly to Kothakota in Mahboobnagar district to lay the foundation stone for a Rs 1,500 crore national highway project to connect the new International airport at Shamshabad to Bangalore.
The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting and witness a photo exhibition organised by the district administration on the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
He would leave for New Delhi from here at 1315 hrs.
