PIB to accept applications from mediaperosns online

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Moving a step further towards digitization of its operations, Press Information Bureau (PIB) has introduced the facility of on-line submission of forms.

Application forms for fresh accreditation by media persons, renewal of accreditations and special accreditation for International Film Festival of India (IFFI), 2006 can now be submitted on-line on PIB website i.e. http://pib.nic.in.

On-line applicants will be given a reference number through which they can track the status of their applications, obviating the need for personal visits/calls to know about their respective cases.

The step reduces the time in accreditation-related matters.
