Maharashtra Governor, family visit Thanjavur

Thanjavur, Oct 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna accompanied by his family today paid a visit to the temple town of Thanjavur.

Mr Krishna who arrived in a special flight this morning at the Airforce Station Ground here drove to the famous Sri Naganatha Swamy temple and offered worship. From there they went to the historic Sri Suriyanar temple near Aduthurai and offered prayers to the deity.

Later, they left by road to Lord Saneswara temple at Thirunnallar in Puducherry.

After completing the pilgrimage, he left by the special flight in the evening.
