Local Urban Body polls would be unfair:UDIT
Allahabad, Oct 25 (UNI) The National President of the Indian Justice Party (IJP) Dr Udit Raj today warned of gross irregularities in the Local Urban Body election.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Raj alleged that the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) was adopting all unfair means to win the election.
Mr Raj appealed the State Election Commission to make proper arrangements so that people can vote without any fear and pressure.
He said it is astonishing that the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), which happens to be an established party of UP has fled from the poll battle.
He stated that Mayawati is not a true follower of Kanshiram's thoughts.
''Mulayam Singh claims himself to be a well wisher of Muslims but he has done nothing good for the community. Recently, 1,700 constables were selected from one particular caste and out of it only three muslims got placed.'' he added.
He asserted ''the popularity graph of the Bhartiya Janata Party has gone down as it suffers from internal politics and it would be unable to win even single seat of mayor in this election .
