'Installation Art Exhibition' at Malpe beach on Oct 29

Udupi, Karnataka, Oct 25 (UNI) An 'Installation Art Exhibition', a new concept of art exhibition, will be held at Malpe beach, near here, on October 29.

A dozen young artistes from the Chitrakala Mandir Art School here would create different art forms on sand with the theme 'Vande Mataram' as a tribute to freedom fighters, the exhibition Director Vishweshwar Parkala said here today.

Sand arts created by the artistes would indicate ''change'', while different masks used in the exhibition would indicate ''sacrifice''. Clay pots, portraits of great freedom fighters and line art spread on the sand would depict incidents from the freedom struggle, he added.
