IIE official lauds decision to set up SEZ in AP
Tirupati, Oct 24 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Economics(IIE) Director B Yerram Raju today lauded the announcement of the Central Government to set up the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to UNI, after delivering a lecture on liberalisation and small and medium enterprises(SME) sector here, Dr Raju said as per the norms and regulations of the SEZ, minimum ten hectares of land was sufficient to set up the project.
The land should be given to the interested parties, who facilitate the process for infrastructure development at the project site, he added.
He said people from all walks of life should cooperate for the completion of the project which would generate employment.
