Eid prayers for country's prosperity offered at Ajmer Sharif

Ajmer, Oct 25 (UNI) Special prayers for peace and prosperity in the country were offered on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti's dargah here today.

The Jannati Darwaza located inside the holy mazar sharif was opened today for the common people.

According to dargah khadim S F Hasan Chisti, a black satin chadar brought from Mecca was laid on the mazar sharif early today. The khadims and devotees offered special prayers for peace and well-being of the nation.

The religiously significant Jannati Darwaza, which was opened for common ziyarins is opened only on six special occasions in a year.
