DIG'S body sent to his home state

Visakhapatnam, Oct 25 (UNI) The body of Deputy Inspector General of police in Orissa Jaswinder Singh, who was accidentally shot by a personal security officer accompanying him in Rayagada district on October 23, was brought to King George Hospital (KGH) here today.

The body was later flown to his home state of Punjab.

The Rayagada sub-divisional police officer ICF Patnaik, a sub-inspector and eight constables brought the body here.

The City Additional Commissioner of Police P Rama Rao paid homage to the late police official.
