Delhi School crushes Mizo team 9-1 in Nehru Hockey

New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) Union Academy Senior Secondary School, Delhi upped the ante in the second half and pumped in half-a-dozen goals after the breather to crush Thenzawl Higher Secondary School, Mizoram 9-1 in the 24th ONGC Nehru Sub-Junior Hockey Tournament here today.

Leading 2-1 by the lemon-break, Delhi boys were a different side and Nikhil Saroha scored three as they pummelled the Mizo team.

Meanwhile Harjinder Singh scored three goals to help Government High School, Maqsudan defeat S S High School, Khunti 5-3.

In other matches Army Boys Sports College, Danapur came back from a goal deficit to pip Government High School, Chandigarh 3-2 while Toan High School, Sundregarh blanked Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana 4-0.
