Day temperatures high in AP, MP, Guj, Assam, Konkan

Pune, Oct 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Saurashtra and Kutch and were above normal in some parts of Jharkhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, south Madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

They were appreciably below normal in some parts of Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and were below normal in remaining parts of Haryana and of Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Assam and Meghalaya, north Orissa and Jharkhand and in some parts of Bihar and were below normal in east uttar Pradesh. They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Saurashtra, Kutch and were above normal in north west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at many places in Andaman and Nicobar. Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at a few places in coastal Andhra pradesh, coastal and south interior karnataka and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himalchal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and north interior Karnataka.
