Car-bus collision kills four, injures 5 in Gujarat

Anand, Gujarat, Oct 25 (UNI) Four people were killed and five others injured when a car collided with a state transport bus on Vasad-Bagodara highway near Vasad village, about 18 km from here, today.

According to the police, the incident took place around 0800 hrs when a car proceeding to Saurashtra from Surat, collided with a Gujarat State Road and Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus plying between Khambhat and Vadodara.

Two occupants of the car died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries at a hospital here. Five passengers of the bus sustained minor injuries, the police said.

The deceased are yet to be identified.
