Accused in SSLC question paper leak case surrenders
Kochi, Oct 25 (UNI) Former Additional Director of Public Instruction M Gopalan, one of the accused in SSLC question paper leak case, surrendered before the CBI here this morning.
A CBI official said Gopalan, the tenth accused in the case, appeared before investigating officer P K Einstein.
He is accused of allegedly conniving in awarding contract to co-accused Rajan Chacko to print the question papers from 2002 to 2005.
The Kerala High Court had directed Gopalan to appear before the investigating officer to explain his case.
The investigating agency had arrested Deputy Director of Education V Sanu, former secretary of Pareeksha Bhavan S Ravindran and former superintendent of Pareeksha Bhavan C P Vijayan Nair in connection with the case.
