3 killed, 10 injured in UP road accident

Allahabad, Oct 25 (UNI) At least three persons were killed and 10 others seriously injured after two vehicles collided head-on here today.

The mishap occurred near Pithi village on Allahabad-Lucknow highway under Nawabganj police station limits, where an overloaded jeep collided head-on with another on coming vehicle.

Three people were killed on the spot, while ten others sustained grave injuries.

The injured were rushed to S R N hospital, where the condition of some of them was stated to be critical.
