1729 tested HIV positive in Mizoram

Aizawl, Oct 25 (UNI) Mizoram State AIDS Control Society (MSACS) today informed that about 1729 people were tested HIV positive in the state.

The Society had found that the HIV cases were on rise age since last five to six years.

A total of 29,426 blood samples, offered voluntarily for testing, have been tested in the state till September this year. Of them, 1729 were HIV positive.
