Railways to set up fog signal posts to guide trains

Phagwara, Oct 24 (UNI) In view of the coming winter season, the Northern Railway has set up 'Fog Signal Posts' near all railway stations for normal running of trains in foggy conditions.

Stating this here, today railway sources said that railway employees will give clearance signals to coming train drivers by bursting crackers near the fog signal posts when visibility is low.

Train drivers are guided by the sound of the crackers.
