Mandya celebrates Ambareesh becoming Union Minister

Mandya, Karnataka, Oct 24 (UNI) The people of Mandya today celebrated their Member of Parliament M H Ambareesh assuming office as the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

Raising slogans supporting Mr Ambareesh, his fans and followers even stopped buses and distributed sweets to passengers and passersby.

The Congress leaders from the state expressed happiness over the party high command elevating the actor-turned politician as an Union Minister.

The party Mysore city and district unit sent best wishes to him.
