Iran to consider suspending nuclear prog, if talks resume:Ambassodor
Moscow, Oct 24 (UNI) The issue of suspending Tehran's nuclear programme may be considered if talks were resumed with the participation of six countries, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Gholamreza Ansari said today.
''We believe that all issues can be discussed during talks.
Therefore, Iran supports all measures backed by logic,'' Russian news agencies quoted Ansari as saying.
Russia, the U S, Britain, China, France and Germany have conducted talks with Iran offering a package of incentives in exchange for Tehran resuming moratorium on its uranium enrichment.
''We support any event and development, if it has logical backing. Tehran is an advocate of logic. However, we dismiss any pressure or violence,'' the Iranian ambassador said.
''The problems stem from the fact that some countries seek world domination. An approach to international relations based .
on the principle - 'the one who is not with us is our enemy' - is invalid and unacceptable,'' Mr Ansari said.
''The one who is not with us has the right to existence, too. Normal relations emerge only when there is tolerance towards each other,''he added.
