IED blast in north Kashmir; no damage
Srinagar, Oct 24 (UNI) Suspected militants triggered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Pattan area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today, official sources said.
They said the explosion took place at around 1600 hrs when a vehicle carrying security forces was passing through Kuta Morh in Pattan area.
However, there were no reports of any casualty or damage to property, the sources added.
They said the IED was planted by suspected militants to target the security forces who used to move through the area almost daily.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.
