HC issues notices to CBI on bail pleas in sex scandal

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Justice Rajive Bhalla of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notices to the CBI for November 2, on the bail petitions filed by two more accused allegedly involved in the Jammu and Kashmir sex scandal.

The trial for the case is now going on before the special judge, Chandigarh on being transferred here from Srinagar on the orders of the apex court.

The latest to join the bail applicants in this scandal are businessman Merajuddin Malik and former police officer of the state Mohammed Ashraf Mir.
