Gujarat Bhawan employee found hanging

New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) A 45-year-old employee of Gujarat Bhawan was today found hanging under mysterious circumstances at his Chanakyapuri residential quarters in New Delhi.

Shiv Kumar, a receptionist-cum-telephone operator at Gujarat Bhawan, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his residence this afternoon by his relatives who had come to visit him, according to official sources.

A resident of Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Kumar, who lived in the employee quarters of Gujarat Bhawan on Kautilya Marg in Chanakyapuri area, is survived by his wife and two children.

He had recently visited home and police said they suspected some foul play.

No suicide note has been found, it added.
