Emirates to have recruitment drive in Bangalore in November
Bangalore, Oct 24 (UNI) The rapidly expanding Dubai-based Emirates Airline will be in the city in November on a four-day recruitment drive, the sixth since 2004.
The company, in a release here today, said the drive would be the fourth this year as the city boasted of high calibre, confident candidates equipped with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, maturity and a positive attitude.
Airline Vice-President (India and Nepal) Salem Obaidalla said the recruitment efforts in Bangalore was in line with the company's policy of providing more career opportunities for the city's talented workforce and contributing to Karnataka's economic development.
He said ''Emirates is building a firm foundation in Bangalore prior to the commencement of its eight-flights-a-week service on October 29. The airline recently appointed Pradeep Suvarna to head its Bangalore operations.'' Successful applicants from the coming recruitment campaign would join a five-week training programme at the world-class Emirates Aviation College in Dubai. They would also be based at the airline's hub, Dubai.
