Eight new cases of dengue in PGI

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) In the last 24 hours, 8 new cases of suspected dengue fever have been reported in the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here.

An official spokesperson said here that 47 patients were admitted in the hospital at present, of whom four were in a critical condition.

So far, 396 patients of suspected dengue fever have been treated in the PGIMER this season, she added.
