Eid: MP leaders greet citizens

Bhopal, Oct 24 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have conveyed their greetings to the people on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

''Unity and brotherhood prevail among the followers of different faiths in our state and this is a great example to other states,'' Dr Jakhar said in his message.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, his deputy Hazarilal Raghuvanshi, leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jamuna Devi, several members of the state Council of Ministers, All India Congress Committee General Secretary and former chief minister Digvijay Singh also greeted their Muslim brethren.
