DMK announces candidates for local bodies

Chennai, Oct 24 (UNI) The ruling DMK, which had swept the recent two-phased polls to local bodies along with its allies, today announced the list of candidates for various Municipalities, Panchayats and Town Panchayats in Tamil Nadu.

The candidates list was announced by Finance Minister and DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan However, the DMK was yet to announce the candidates for the six Corporations -- Chennai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli -- which were captured by the DMK.
