Bangladesh Foreign Minister congratulates Pranab

Dhaka, Oct 24 (UNI) Bangladesh Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan today congratulated Mr Pranab Mukherjee on his appointment as External Affairs Minister.

In a message of felicitation to his new Indian counterpart, Mr Khan said his appointment would contribute to the regional and global peace and stability.

Describing Mr Mukherjee as one of the ''most respected and experienced'' political leaders of India, he said the appointment would contribute to the promotion of bilateral relations between the two neighbours.
