A major fire broke out at Cotton godown

Kolkata, Oct 24 (UNI) A major fire broke out at a cotton godown at Bhandaghat in Howrah district tonight, fire brigade sources said.

They said scores of fire fighters from ten fire engines were pressed into service to fight the flames when the report came in.

There had been no report of any casualty in the fire so far, they added.
