Rajnath to address rally in Varanasi on Oct 24

Varanasi, Oct 20 (UNI) BJP president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Rajnath Singh will visit the city on October 24.

Former BJP MP from Varanasi Shankar Prasad Jaiswal said here today, Mr Singh will address a public rally at the City Town Hall ground on Tuesday evening.

The rally is being organised particularly to garner support for party candidate to the post of city mayor, Kaushalendra Singh.

The BJP is aiming a hat-trick in mayoral polls, as in the last two elections, party candidates Saroj Singh and Amarnath Yadav had defeated opponents by convincing margin.
