Don't undermine IB and RAW objections to Chinese FDI: BJP tells Go
New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Urging the Government not to overlook reservations expressed by intelligence agencies about Chinese Foreign Direct Investments in the country, the BJP today said it was ironical that the CPI-M which was opposed to FDI inflow had transformed itself as a 'front' of the Chinese FDI.
BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad told newspersons that it was the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government that had generated extra-ordinary momentum to the Sino-Indian relationship during his historic visit to Beijing in July, 2003.
He said Intelligence Bureau and RAW agencies had expressed concerns over Chinese FDI and urged the government not to succumb to the pressures from the Left parties. The government should not undermine national security interests, Mr Prasad added.
