Pak must deliver on anti-terror promises for talks to continue: PM
New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) A day after the announcement of resumption of the Composite Dialogue between India and Pakistan, New Delhi today warned Islamabad that any failure to fulfil commitments would mean invitation to future difficulties.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh - addressing the Combined Commanders' Conference of the Armed Forces here - minced no words in asserting that Pakistan was put on notice that India would find it ''difficult to continue on the present path of addressing all outstanding issues'' unless Islamabad clearly dealt with the issue of terrorism.
The Prime Minister said the India-Pakistan Anti-Terrorism Institutional Mechanism would be ''a test of Pakistani intentions and capabilities'' to implement the assurances that they had given India since January 2004.
