Osmania Univ beat Pune Univ in Korfball championship

Rohtak, Oct 18 (UNI) Osmania University defeated Pune University 14-5 in the opening match of the All-India Inter University Korfball Championship which commenced at Maharshi University (MDU) here today.

In the other matches, Panjab University, Chandigarh beat Nagpur University 13-5, while Ch Devi Lal University, Sirsa thrashed GGDU, Bilaspur 15-0.

In all, 16 universities are participating in this championship.
