Indian national dies in police custody

Kathmandu, Oct 18 (UNI) An Indian national, Manoj Das, died in police custody here on monday.

Manoj was caught by a team of police on September 20 in connection with a robbery case in Kathmandu.

According to a press release issued by the police headquarters, a three-member panel under the convenorship of SSP Sushilbar Singh Thapa has been formed to investigate into the death. The panel has been urged to submit the report at the earliest.

Other members in the panel include SP Rajendraman Shrestha and DSP Madhav Basnet.
