Airtel offers gifts for J

Srinagar, Oct 17 (UNI) Airtel, the country's leading telecom service provider, has come up with festival offers for its customers in Jammu and Kashmir on Diwali and Eid-ul-Fitr.

Airtel spokesperson Anjali Kachroo said Eid and Diwali festivals have come up with exciting offers for the customers to celebrate a month of gifts.

The new offers were advanced rental plans, RC 495, SMS Pack, Full Talktime and 50 Free SMS on SUK 99 and 149 plan, she added.

''To top it all comes spot in the crowd wherein Airtel customers are in for surprise gifts. The customers speaking in the crowd would be randomly selected and given a surprise gift,'' Ms Kachroo said.

She said the subscribers could now set themselves free from the tension of paying the rentals every month by opting for advance rental plans.

With a one-time charge of Rs 799 for one year or Rs 1399 for two years, subscribers would enjoy calling without having to bother about the payment of the monthly rental.

The tariffs under both the plans were Rs 1.20 for Airtel to Airtel, Rs 1.50 for Airtel to mobiles, Rs 1.75 for Airtel to landlines, she added.

The other offers were the SMS Pack giving unlimited freedom to enjoy the services at much cheaper rates. SMS pack of Rs 14 with 15 days validity comes with SMS at the rate of 25 paisa.

Besides, Ms Kachroo said the recharge of Rs 495 was another offer to be enjoyed. Coming with a talktime of Rs 255 and validity of 30 days, customers could enjoy Airtel to Airtel local calls at Rs 0.30 per minute and Airtel to Airtel STD at Rs 0.90 per minute. All other local calls will be charged at Rs 0.90 per minute on recharging with RC 495, she added.

Ms Kachroo said Airtel prepaid customers were in for a treat of full talktime and 50 Free local SMS on SUK 99 and 149. The offer is applicable on first recharge of Rs 200 and above.
