25-year-old jumps to death at West Delhi mall

New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) A 25-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a mall in the Rajouri Garden area of West Delhi in the wee hours today.

Deepak Verma, who worked as a lab technician in a Noida firm, allegedly jumped from the City Square Mall in Rajouri Garden at 0200 hrs, according to sources.

He was rushed to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital where he died.

Last night Deepak told his parents that he was going to meet his friend in Daryaganj but headed straight for the Rajouri Garden mall.

However, police could not confirm from which floor Deepak took the plunge.

A resident of Gandhi Nagar in East Delhi, Deepak in his suicide note said he was committing suicide as he was financially constrained and could not meet his family's aspirations.
