R Sridharan appointed as Managing Director

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Mr R Sridharan has assumed charge as Managing Director&CEO of SBI Capital Markets Ltd, the investment banking subsidiary of State Bank of India (SBI).

Prior to taking over as Managing Director&CEO of SBI Caps, Mr Sridharan was Chief General Manager, Bangalore (Karnataka) Circle of SBI,the release said.

During his tenure of 34 years in State Bank of India, Mr Sridharan has also held assignments in the Bank's International Division, and at its Frankfurt Branch. He was also the Executive Vice President at SBI, Tokyo,the statement added.
